Our meal kits are made with wholesome, dry ingredients like beans, grains, spices, and dehydrated vegetables. This makes them super tasty and inexpensive. The most affordable meal kit on the market!
Accessible:
Unlike traditional meal kits, ours are shelf stable, which means they are able to be stored and transported for longer periods of time. No pressure to use them up before they go bad and able to be shipped almost everywhere!
Sustainable:
100% plant based, made with locally sourced and Canadian ingredients whenever possible. Packaged with the planet in mind. No endless prepackaged plastic bags with Ember & Oak meals!
Meet our founders: ALEX
Alex has always wanted to be an entrepreneur. She started her career in tech as a software developer and user experience designer. Working for a young tech startup she learned invaluable lessons that would serve her well later in her own ventures.
With a life long passion for health an nutrition, she knew she wanted to use her skills in the health space somehow. After years of self studying nutrition, food accessibility, and sustainable food systems, she decided to leave tech behind and pursue her certification as a Plant Based Nutritionist.
Meet our founders: Julie
Julie is an experienced entrepreneur and owner of Breakout Saint John Escape Rooms. Alex and Julie met when Alex worked at Breakout in high school and college.
Both passionate about plant based eating, health, and sustainability, little did they know that someday those shared passions would lead them to start a business together.

All food items purchased are final sale. If you have any questions or issues with your product please reach out through our contact page.
When will I get my order?
We are currently offering order pick up in Fredericton and Saint John, NB. Pickup dates will be communicated upon ordering.
Where are your products manufactured?
As we are currently a still a small, local operation, we assemble the meal kits ourselves.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
